School is back! Let’s warm up with a reading activity by participating in a Short Reading Marathon 2024 from 26 August to 8 September 2024. It is a fun FREE short reading activity (14 days only) for Primary and Secondary School students to be engaged with thousands of Raz-Plus English e-book collection of various topics and genres while instilling the habit and love of reading.
Invite as many students in your school to participate and motivate them to feel the joy of reading. Let them play with their imagination and keep being curious of as much knowledge that they want to dig out from the books.
Who can participate
- Primary school students (grade 1 to 6)
- Secondary school students (grade 7 to 8)
How to participate
- Register your school HERE and upload the student participants’ names and grades
- Registration period is 22 July 2024 to 15 August 2024
- The list of students’ accounts login credential will be sent to the registered schools
- Schools inform their students to read, listen to the books and complete comprehension quizzes in Kids A-Z platform during
- Reading Marathon period (26 August – 8 September 2024)

Short Reading Marathon procedures
- Students read and listen to the e-books available in Raz-Plus for 14 days to collect stars.
- At the end of the period, 25 primary students and 25 secondary students will be selected as finalist participants based on the most numbers of stars collected (if the participants are less than 500, total 30 students will be selected as finalist participants).
- During live final round session on 21 Sep, 50 or 30 finalist participants will be allocated in 2 Zoom rooms, each room will be assigned different books and comprehension quizzes.
- 2 winners each from primary and secondary schools will be nominated the 1st and 2nd winner from each category/group.
- Another 3 highest scores from each category will be selected for runner up winners
- In case of any dispute, the decision of Fun English Learning, MangoSTEEMS ID and Learning A-Z shall remain final.
