Hudson Global Scholars offer Advanced Placement® (AP), US Dual Diploma Program for high school students and English Language Learning Program for grade K – 12 students to transform beginners university-ready learners.
1. Advanced Placement® Courses
Hudson Global Scholars offers a full catalogue of AP® courses taught by qualified U.S.-based teachers. These courses prepare students for the internationally recognized AP® exam and for university success.
2. Dual Diploma Program
U.S. Dual Diploma Program is a path to U.S. university acceptance. The program is created for international students hoping to attend university in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, UAE, or other English-speaking countries. Students earn an American high school diploma that’s recognized around the world.
Students complete 5 course credits online in addition to high school course work at their local school.
Students can choose from 4 instructional formats:
- 1:1 Live Instruction: Independent study is supplemented by one hour each week (per course) of live individualized instruction by a U.S.-based teacher, plus monthly check-ins.
- Teacher Assisted: Students work at their own pace with oversight from a U.S.-based teacher.
- Group instruction – Live lessons: small group, middle group or large group.
- Local teacher with oversight by US school as appropriate.
Successful Dual Diploma graduates are:
- Highly proficient in English.
- Ready to study on a U.S. university campus or in any English-speaking countries – UK, Australia, Canada, UAE.
- Experience a career-oriented curriculum that extends beyond academic courses.
- More desirable to university admissions officers and employers.
- Guaranteed admission to at least one of Hudson’s 30+ partnered universities (or Hudson will refund their program fee).
- Students apply to universities in Hudson’s guarantee program using a streamlined application process that waives the SAT, ACT, and TOEFL.
- Qualified graduates receive scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 USD. Amounts are determined based on the student’s academic record and the university and program selected.
- Free 1:1 university counselling sessions, focussing on academic and career goals and assisting with application to Hudson’s partner universities.
With Dual Diploma Program, university admissions are simplified:
- Single online application process.
- No application essay required.
- No SAT/ACT scores required.
- No TOEFL/IELTS exams required*
- Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
- Form I-20 guaranteed** upon admission (a required document for the student visa application).
- Scholarships of $1,500 or more for all graduates.
* All new students must take placement tests to ensure appropriate course levels.
3. English Language Learning Program
Hudson Global Scholars supports international students who want to gain English proficiency to U.S. university level. This program prepares students for more advanced coursework, such as K-12 academic courses and the Dual Diploma program.
English Language Learning Program is available for all grades, including elementary.
The innovative program provides a fully integrated experience that is specifically engineered to take students from beginner to university ready.
The learning structure is a mix of self-paced and interactive study, supervised by US-based teachers.
Students apply their new skills in live sessions with American teachers. Teachers lead students through lessons that reinforce their independent work.
